I always get a little nostalgic around Christmas. This year I’m finding that sensation stronger than ever: 2020 has been a year unlike any other I’ve seen, and the familiarity of the festive season has proven comforting.
It seems only fitting, then, that we have some fine vintage porn for you this week. The Wrong Room was filmed some years ago now, and is the sequel to The Victorian Brothel - which was already a look back through Dreams of Spanking history when we released it in 2017. It’s also set in the 1800s, of course, making it a blast from the past in more than one way!
As one of the newer members of the Dreams of Spanking team, this was my first introduction to the shenanigans of Molly Brown. You can tell in the opening scenes of The Wrong Room that she’s enjoying her bare-bottom spanking a great deal - and not for the first time, either, judging by the array of beautiful bruises she sports all across her exposed backside. Longstanding fans will know that this enjoyment was hard-won: in her debut she was a real firebrand, stubbornly refusing to submit to her client’s desires. All that life and energy is still there - she hasn’t lost her sharp mouth or her quick wit, which we see as the film unfolds - but she’s discovered something wonderful at the hands of Thomas, and submission to him has become something she craves and enjoys.
You can see the jealousy in her face, in fact, when after a mixup with room bookings Thomas decides to invite the hapless Leia to join them. She soon warms to the idea, however, and in the end thoroughly enjoys getting to play the experienced sub talking a nervous newbie through their first ever spanking. Leia too is taken on a journey during this encounter. She’s reluctant at first, seeming to agree only out of a sense of politeness and duty. As her cheeks redden, though, we can see it in her face: she’s enjoying this. She’s learned something new about herself here; something we can but hope she gets to explore with Thomas on many future assignations.
It’s been a deeply peculiar year for us all, has 2020 - but we wanted to go out with a bang (or should that be a smack?), and this was the perfect way to do it. Have a great Christmas, folks, and we’ll see you on the other side.
Storytelling is sexy. Whether it's written, audio, or dramatised on screen, storytelling can make the difference between something that's hot while you're watching it, and something that stays with you for a long time afterwards.
When I write the blogs for Dreams of Spanking, it's always important to pick the right key phrases so that people can find scenes during search. Judicial caning, hand spanking, over the knee, etc – it means that everyone knows what they'll get if they click through, and also serves to get people horny. If you're anything like me then the phrase 'over the knee' probably conjures instant hot mental images, so if a scene involves that kind of punishment I'll make sure to be clear about it.
But the problem with this kind of directness is that there are lots of other more nuanced things that might be particularly erotic, but that aren't as instantly recognisable. Let's face it – lots of people search for 'six strokes of the cane' but fewer people search for 'depersonalised punishment' or 'endurance punishment'. That's where storytelling comes in.
Depersonalised punishment is a really interesting thing to explore – the idea that someone is receiving a beating because they have to rather than because they specifically deserve it. Rituals and ceremonies are both great vehicles for this: the punishment can be impersonal because it's not an individual need but part of a greater story.
Our new film, The Clone's Training, is sci-fi porn that fully explores this concept. Clone number eight – played by the gorgeous David Weston – is being drilled in the nuance and detail of the behaviour of his progenitor, the Crown Prince. Identical genetically, the clone and the Crown Prince are impossible to tell apart just by looking. Birthmarks and scars have all been faithfully reproduced, and the clone now needs to perfect his behaviour so he can infiltrate the royal family and 'become' the prince.
Instructor Pandora Blake gives firm and strict directions: stride purposefully, keep your chin up, hand behind your back. Every movement, in other words, must match the Prince's own gestures. And, of course, he must also be marked so that any blemish on his body matches exactly the ones on the Crown Prince.
A punch to the hip should replicate a bruise the Prince sustained, but to truly fool the medical scanners, clone number eight will have to have a six stroke judicial caning, just as the military Prince received only the day before...
You don't often see sci-fi porn, probably because most people associate it with either huge budgets or crap special effects. But there's a wealth of hot potential in science fiction, and you don't need CGI to make the concept work. Dystopic worlds in which individuals must behave a certain way. 1984-style future societies where citizens unquestioningly obey. And, of course, the deliciously sexy possibilities of armies of identical human-looking robots (I'm looking at you, Battlestar Galactica, with your sexy Cylons) and cloning technology.
This film plays on the clone scenario to dish out an incredibly clinical, depersonalised punishment. While many will watch this because they just love caning stories, others will be aroused by the impersonal nature of the punishment itself. The medical officer and instructor, played by Pandora, is concerned only with shaping clone number eight into as close a copy of the Prince as possible. As a consequence, when she strikes him with the cane it's not in anger or lust, but with a calculated necessity. And when he bends over to receive the strokes it's not because he feels he deserves them, it's because he is so used to obedience that it doesn't occur to him to question why he has to go through this. He just knows he must fulfil his destiny.
When you've watched The Clone's Training, if you're after more porn with amazing stories, it's well worth exploring Dreams of Spanking's 'sci-fi and fantasy' tag. The Royal Wedding is an audio story about a medieval princess, featuring an amazing public flogging which – again – is an impersonal ritual, but has more significance when told from the perspective of the princess who endures it. I also really like 'Psychic Weapon C' – another sci-fi porn story, but here the pain is used as a means to extract information. It's not quite as clinical, because the victim is actively fighting against the beating, but the fact that it's administered by henchmen makes it – in my opinion – an awesome example of pain being dished out as a matter of unflinching necessity.
So that's why storytelling is sexy – it's not just about a simple act, it's about the before and after, the build up and the tension. I could watch any scene in which a beautiful guy gets six of the best, and be delighted to have seen it, but the story turns it into something I think about for a long time. Not least because I can't help imagining exactly what happened to clones one through seven...
I've heard it from many straight girl friends before – the porn lament. You know the one: “I found some porn that really presses my buttons and all, but there's one problem: the guys in it are either looking disinterested, or notable by their absence.”
I've felt the same. Casually browsing some porn ,I'll come across a scenario that floats my particular boat, then halfway through utter a cry of rage and frustration when they cut away from shots of the guy. I was going to write this blogpost about the latest photoset – Lace and Ribbon – and describe all the many ways in which it's awesome. But there are loads of awesome things you can see straight away: Pandora, dressed in a stunning lace ensemble, and subsequently just in tiny ribbon knickers that frame her perfect arse. All these things get my heart racing.
But what gets my heart (and other parts lower down) positively thumping, is the fact that the camera gives D a lot of love too.

Of course, seeing more of everyone is one of the things I love about Dreams of Spanking anyway – no matter who's getting spanked and who's doing the spanking, we see beautiful body shots, loads of arse close-ups, and most importantly faces – the looks of lust, pain, and everything in between.
You really get a sense of who the people are, both male and female, the beauty of this is so apparent in the photosets Pandora and D do together. Both Lace and Ribbon, and the filthy, sensual, hardcore photoset from Valentine's Day have a similar atmosphere – that of two people who are really into each other. Both of them are centre-stage, with Pandora's desire for D as evident and reflected in the pictures as his for her.
We see her perfect arse in tiny ribbon knickers, bent over the sofa, framed at the window, and sigh with the same kind of desire we imagine D to have done. And then we get to see D, lounging on the sofa with riding crop in hand, and imagine the shivers it must have sent down Pandora's spine. Well, it would have if she were me.
I know I've missed out a couple of scenes, but I just want to skip ahead and tell you about our latest film. This was a members request video submitted by Delicious Delight. I love each and every one of our female members (women buying spanking porn! Fuck yes! You guys are AWESOME) but DD has connected with me in the comment threads and provided a lot of useful feedback.
A year ago, she sent in a script set on a farm in the 1930s, in which the master and mistress punish their stableboy. Her fantasy casting for the characters were me, Thomas Camerona and Michael Darling, and I sent the script to both of them to see what they thought. They loved it, and I wrote back and told her that I'd definitely try to find a way to shoot it, although I wasn't sure when we might have access to a suitable location.
In the end, it happened by accident. We had a no-show on our location shoot last September and Michael gallantly stepped in to fill the breach. We needed to rustle up some scene ideas on short notice, and I dug this one out of my email. We had to put together thirties costumes on zero notice (luckily, I'd brought my whole dress-up box with me, so I had some options to pick through) and the setup needed changing a bit - we didn't have a barn, or a haybale, for him to lie over - but we thought we could make it work.
I actually love how this film turned out. Sometimes the scenes that come together at the last minute work best of all.
The stableboy is caught returning after an unauthorised ride into town to visit a lady friend. He is ordered to go inside, arrange the chaise in the middle of the floor, place a cushion over the end, take the family strap down from its hook and wait there. Michael obeys, shaking with nerves.
Once the mistress has worked out her anger with the strap, the master takes over. He applies a few strokes with the riding crop, giving the boy a taste of the sensation, before sentencing him to ten hard strokes.
The thing that stood out in the script DeliciousDelight sent was the sense of fear and anticipation, made worse by Michael being made to prepare for his own punishment. First there's the stableboy's dread at the moment he is caught, and realises he has no choice but to confess. Then the scolding, made worse when the man of the house is brought in to see what has happened. The poor boy knows he has made a bad mistake, and wishes the ground would swallow him up. He also knows exactly what's coming next.
Here's how DeliciousDelight described the next sequence, as she imagined it:
The man of the house gives him the following instructions: Go to the barn. Place a bundle of straw in the middle of the floor. Then place a carpet over it. You then take the leather strap and the horse whip and place it on the bundle of straw. (The equipment is probably hanging on the wall in the barn). And then wait for us to come over there.
(From my personal experience, I always thought that being instructed to prepare a punishment myself, was really terrifying and at the same time really exciting. It is also a little humiliating, I think. It is a real turn on for me, and I would love to see this in one of your films)
The stableboy nervously does what he is told, almost shaking whilst making the preparations. He is nervous as hell.
Okay, we didn't have a barn, but doesn't that just give you the most delightful shivers? We tried to capture that mood in the film, but really it was down to Michael's performance, and I think he did a fantastic job.
Period scenes always take a little thought, especially when it comes to the dialogue. There's a moment at the start of this film that makes me laugh every time I watch it, around two minutes in. Tom and I are in the garden, giving poor Michael a good telling off. During the scolding I start saying "You've been taking..." and stop, realising that "the piss" isn't exactly an authentic or appropriate 1930s turn of phrase. I flounder before Tom comes in neatly to my rescue: "...Liberties!" Nicely played, sir.
So what did our scriptwriter think of the finished product? Well, I'm glad to report that she likes it. Here's what DeliciousDelight said in email:
Loved the new film. Your performances are stunning and quite what I had in mind. Really liked how strict you were both being with Michael throughout the whole punishment and the way you were scolding.
The changes you made in the scene plot made a lot of sense I think. Starting outside in the beautiful garden and then moving indoors later. Gave a good flow to the scene I think.
In the plot idea I wrote to you back then, I remember my description of how nervous the boy is when being caught and waiting for his punishment is quite long and detailed, and I really think that Michael played that out very well! I could almost feel it on my own body.

Our latest photoset, Dominance and Submission, is from my shoot with D and Matt Christie in July last year. I'm remiss in still not having previewed the other scenes we shot that day, but I'm going to make up for it today by sharing a bumper load of free photos from this new gallery.
I wanted to create some iconic male dominant, female submissive imagery, exploring themes of clothed male/nude female, bondage, human furniture and objectification, erotic breast teasing and whipping, nurturing dominance, throat grabbing and breath play, as well as corporal punishment with leather belt and crop. The depth of my connection and chemistry with D provided the ideal opportunity for these explorations, and Matt's trademark evocative imagery bathed in warm, soft light perfectly set the scene. I love every single photo he took, and had difficulty picking out just a few for the thumbnails on the scene page. I'm so delighted with Matt's photography that I just can't resist the urge to show you more here.

Havelock's Campaign is inspired by our favourite Napoleonic War fiction including the Sharpe books by Bernard Cornwell, and the Flashman series by George Macdonald Fraser, and centres around the character of Major Harry Havelock, a cavalry officer in Her Majesty's Hussars. This character of Tom's creation almost instantly became a firm favourite (especially of me and Nimue, who quickly developed big old crushes on him!), and Tom's skill as an actor, and passion for the period, shines throughout.
The first episode joins the officers the night before they ride out on campaign. Havelock congratulates new Lieutenant Shada on his promotion, and takes the opportunity to introduce the boy to the privileges of rank...
Major Harry Havelock of Her Majesty's Hussars has been assigned a new Lieutenant, commission still squeaky-new. Lieutenant Shada requires introduction to the privileges of an officer and a gentleman: wine, wenching, and whipping! Havelock also takes the opportunity to provide the new Lieutenant with Flash Harry's patent method for domestic bliss: a brisk over-the-lap spanking and, if she needs it, a firm thrashing with the riding crop...
The fantasy of being given by one dominant to another is one I've always had. It combines helplessness and lack of control with the pleasures of being shown off, objectified, and being the centre of attention of two tops at once. When they are both hot young men in military uniform ... well, what more could a lady ask?
I also love being used as a "demonstration model" in a scenario where one top is training or teaching another. This is a theme we've visited before, such as in The New Head Girl. In that story, the "demo bottom" was entirely unhappy about the way she was being treated. My wench in this scene is a little more sanguine about her situation. Maybe she is resigned to her fate and determined to have what fun she can with it. Maybe she has grown fond of the Major and truly wants to please him. Maybe he has chosen well, and picked a girl who genuinely loves to be spanked and whipped. Either way, I enjoyed playing the character of a saucy girl, a tart who enjoys her work, and finds being a camp follower far more entertaining than the other roles available to a woman of her class.
As the scene progressed, I found myself increasingly empathising with her - if I had been in her situation, I would probably have done my best to end up in Major Havelock's tent, too!
The historical military setting happened to fall right within Andrew's comfort zone, and his first-shoot nerves evaporated as he slipped easily into the manners and jargon of the setting. Tom and Andrew developed a rapport on that shoot which really comes across in these scenes, and the behind the scenes videos are a wonderful opportunity to get to know shy Andrew a little better.
It was a good thing that Andrew grew to like and trust Tom over the course of the shoot, because Tom was topping him in his last scene of the day, a harsh riding crop thrashing. Andrew was exhausted by the end his first ever spanking shoot, and opted out of a final scene with him topping the wench (me!) which had been pencilled into the callsheet. But he was happy to go ahead with this one, and take one last beating before some well deserved R&R.
During his first battle of the campaign, Second Lieutenant Shada was tasked with carrying a crucial message, but failed to carry out his duty after his horse stumbled and broke a leg. Major Havelock gives the young officer a firm dressing down, but takes pity and offers him a final chance to save his career. Rather than face a court martial, Shada must suffer the punishment of a cadet, rather than an officer, one last time, and bend over for twenty lashes from his superior.
For me, this scene revolves around two key elements. Firstly, Havelock's genuine affection for the boy, clearly evidenced by the fond exasperation with which he scolds him, and the fact he gives him an option at all. Humiliating and embarrassing as it may be for Shada to drop his trousers and take the punishment which would have been due were he still an ensign, and not, in fact, a newly minted officer, it is certainly better than the alternative.
Officers were not flogged in the British army - that punishment was reserved for the rank and file, and was significantly more brutal than what is shown here. Flogging was administered to the bare back with long leather whips, and a severe flogging could be a death sentence. However, young aristocratic ensigns and cadets, sent to the army or navy in order to be educated and prepared for a career in service, would have been caned by their superiors, just as if they had been at school.
In this story, Shada's character attended a military academy (Sandhurst or Addiscombe, probably) and so did not serve in the army as an ensign. If he had, however, and if he had been entrusted with a task which bad judgement or bad luck prevented him from carrying out, he might well have found himself on the receiving end of a thrashing from his commanding officer.
As a lieutenant he is supposed to have grown out of that sort of foolishness, and cannot now expect the leniency of corporal punishment. Havelock, however, has grown fond of the boy and believes he has promise. The punishment here is not only an embarrassing return to a juvenile mode, it is also a second chance, a gesture of affection, and one that the young lieutenant is willing to receive.
The second thing I love about Military Discipline, the key moment that makes it really hot for me, is when Havelock exhorts Shada to take his punishment "like the gentleman I know you to be". Shada nods, summons his courage, and takes twenty strokes hard enough to leave his bottom welted and bruised as stoically as he possibly can. Andrew's expressive features and body language make it clear how much it is hurting, but as he exhales and fights for control you can also tell that he is trying as hard as he can not to show it.
I love restrained reactions, courage and dignity in a spankee. It's not politically correct, but I find it especially hot in the context of male/male punishment, where gendered expectations are a factor and the bottom is trying to "man up" and retain their manly pride in the eyes of their disciplinarian. Andrew really felt this whipping, you can tell, but the hottest thing is the way he tries to be brave. And, I should add, succeeds: given this was his first ever spanking shoot, he really did do amazingly well.
Caroline's brother bets everything on her next race, hoping his winnings will cover his other gambling debts. Caroline knows Amelia is the best racer at Miss Blake’s Riding Academy, but kind-hearted Amelia agrees to let Caroline win this one. They fool the race officials, but they can’t fool Miss Blake.
When Miss Blake confronts the girls, they confess all. She agrees not to expel them, but they still must be punished. The crying girls hold each other’s hands, tearfully comforting each other as they each receive a harsh whipping from Miss Blake's riding crop.
This was such a hot scene. Amelia and Caroline both became deeply immersed in character as the good girls who hadn’t meant to get each other in trouble. Their emotional reactions lent a real intensity to the punishment as they tried to protect each other, held hands and counted each other’s strokes. The girl getting whipped tried her utmost to be brave, but both times the one watching cried real tears as they empathised with the suffering of their friend.
These ladies are both amazing actresses. I almost couldn’t bring myself to thrash them ... almost.
The emotional intensity of this scene appealed to all of us on set, and we were on a collective high when we finished filming. Caroline and Amelia both cited this as their favourite scene of the two-day shoot.
Amelia's husband Hywel captured the beauty and drama of their whippings in a series of truly gorgeous photographs. I love Hywel's work; it's always a pleasure to shoot with him. There are so many lovely images from this 100-photo gallery that I found it hard to pick my favourites. But this post shows you a few of them. I think that the genuine tears in Amelia's eyes as she watches Caroline's punishment, and the beautifully vivid welts decorating pale-skinned Caroline's bottom make for some stunning - and timeless - spanking photography.
Our recent F/F video Lady Godiva was inspired by a private session client of mine. The last time we got together he wrote a roleplay based on a real life event which took place during the University of Nottingham student Rag Week, summer 1976.

Aces are a "waterfall" - form a circle and the player whose turn it is starts spanking. The spanking is passed around the circle, and no-one can stop until the first player stops.
The first player to draw a King receives 6 strokes of the first suit (ie hand) from each player; the second King is 6 of the hand and 6 of the tawse from each player, the third King is 6 each of hand, tawse and strap, and the player who draws the final King receives 6 strokes of every implement from every other player.
We played with three of us, which meant we were all very active, both topping and bottoming - if you had more players you would get a longer rest between turns. But the more players you have, the more extreme the King cards become, so think carefully before starting a game of ten players!
The total play time was almost exactly 1 hour, and including the pre-game negotiation and after-game hugs, this film is an uninterrupted, uncut 71 minutes of non-stop spanking action, friendship and hilarity. We were totally sober but as the endorphines kicked in we all became high and giggly on spanking, and the game proved to be exactly the right length as by the end we could barely wield a cane!
If this sounds like fun to you, I can assure you that the reality is even more brilliant than you might imagine. Our update My Lady's Pleasure starring Tom and Nimue isn't explicitly historical, but it does feature an aristocratic lady and her manservant, and that sort of upstairs/downstairs theme definitely belongs to bygone times. In a twist on the usual dynamic, our forthright Lady demands that her burly serving man give her the sound thrashing she craves. Initially hesitant, the loyal retainer overcomes his reluctance when he sees the pleasure it brings her, and soon lays on with a will. By the time the springy riding crop has done its work, her ladyship's bottom is as red as her hair.
